Text (End of Weber's letter):

[...] This is all I wanted to communicate. Please let me end with all cordial wishes

your most faithful servant
Carl Marie

Berlin 29th February 1812.
P.S. Here are some other people who want to add their greetings.
[new hand:]
Dear Joergel,
we miss you here! Our circle is reduced and the evenings are more dull than ever. We hope you will come back as soon as possible.

Yours,
Giacomo

[new hand:]
Yesterday my brother-in-law has been here. I showed us a new composition of you which has been published by André at Offenbach a few days ago. Congratulations! But the piano-part seems too difficult for my daughter - so we shall take a while to be able to hear your work. But she is already practising!

Good luck,
Gottfried

P.S. Please send me the libretto of your new opera to my cousin at Frankfurt, he will visit us mid march.
[again Weber's hand:] All the world wants to add a few lines and I fear you will never get this letter if I don't hurry to bring it to the post-office now! Bye!
