This page relates to the discussion of stable references to TEI objects originating on the TEI Council list. That discussion touched upon two related concepts that are different enough, I think, to be treated under separate main sections: references to "computational objects" (schema locations, states of software and documentation in a version control system), and references to "documentary objects", i.e. publications such as the Guidelines and, more generally, the TEI website. --DavidSewell 21:29, 29 January 2009 (EST)
