<p>Creating user page with biography of new user.</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>I’ve been working at the Heidelberg Research Architecture (HRA), Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe”, Heidelberg University since 2008. Earlier I coordinated the European Center for Digital Resources in Chinese Studies and co-headed the IT department at the Heidelberg Center for East Asian Studies. I also participated in the research project “Buddhist Stone Scriptures in China” at the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. <br /> Among the projects I supervised are the “Chinese Women’s Magazines of the Late Qing and Early Republican Era” [http://womag.uni-hd.de] and the “Chinese Entertainment Newspapers” [http://xiaobao.uni-hd.de], both of which are now part of the follow-up project “Early Chinese Periodicals Online (ECPO)” [http://ecpo.uni-hd.de].<br /> I’m interested in TEI for Republican era Chinese newspapers and magazines and am also looking for partners to (semi-)automatically processing image scans of these materials and producing full text. <br /> <br /> <br /> [[Category:Users]]</div>
