Overview
The TEI-C provides a one-time, one-year free membership to individuals registered for a TEI-C sanctioned workshops. Eligible workshops must be open for registration for the general public or can be part of a training program that is open to the public, but application-based. Leaders of open TEI workshops or training programs that feature TEI-related workshops should promote the workshop on the TEI-C web site.
Workshops that are invitation-only or targeted at a particular audience (i.e., training staff for work on a project) are not eligible.

- Workshop leaders must alert the TEI-C Membership Secretary (membership@tei-c.org) of their plans for a workshop 4-6 weeks before the date of the workshop. Workshop leaders should submit:
- Title
- Brief description of the workshop
- Registration/application URL for the workshop or training program
- An approximate number of workshop attendees
Once the workshop has been accepted, it will be promoted through the TEI-C communication channels.
- Workshop leaders can work with the TEI-C Membership Secretary (membership@tei-c.org) to secure an Oxygen XML Editor trial license for up to 2 months.
- Workshop leaders should submit to the TEI-C Membership Secretary (membership@tei-c.org) a completed template with workshop attendee information no longer than 4 weeks since the date of the workshop
