I know.  It has been left neglected for a bit.  We're planning a move to a new server and sometime after that we might move to a later version of it.  Because of a misconfiguration (which we have no access to change) banning of users doesn't seem to work on that.  Always a problem with academics looking after wikis, etc., we all have so many 'more important' things to do.

Which of the available captcha's do you think we should go for?  I noticed especially:

Reading the message/talk page and deleting the content seems to have done it for me. *shrug* No idea.

Workaround: You have to "unwatch" your user page. Of course, the bug is absent in later versions of Mediawiki. Piotr Banski 17:16, 3 April 2007 (BST)

Which of the available captcha's do you think we should go for? I noticed especially:
