Call for TEI-C Treasurer

The TEI Consortium seeks applicants to fill the TEI-C Treasurer position, which will be appointed by the Board of Directors as a non-voting member of the Board. This is a three-year position, January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2020, which requires a minimum 3-month notice if position is to be vacated before the end of the term.

The time commitment will range from 2-5 hours a week, depending on the tasks at hand. It's essential that the incumbent:

  • be detail-oriented
  • be easy to reach by email

Experience with managing institutional budgets preferred.

The Board of Directors will offer support to attend the annual TEI conference for the person selected for the position, or a reduced institutional membership rate to their employer in return for their time commitment. The Text Encoding Initiative Consortium is committed to diversity and inclusion, and ensures equal opportunity to all qualified individuals. We invite applications from all including those with diverse needs, backgrounds, and abilities.

Please indicate interest to the Chair of the TEI-C Board, Michelle Dalmau, by 15 December 2017, with a cover letter stating motivations for applying for the position and a short resume/CV highlighting the specific competencies. Send application materials to: board@tei-c.org.
