View source for Associating an ODD with a particular release of P5

To declare in an ODD which version of the TEI it was created from, use the <tt>@version</tt> attribute on the root <tt>&lt;TEI></tt> element. For example:

As explained in [http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/TD.html#TDbuild section 22.5], to declare in an ODD which version of the TEI to use when generating schemas, use the <tt>@source</tt> attribute of the <tt>&lt;schemaSpec></tt> element. For example:

To find out which version of P5 is the current one, go to http://www.tei-c.org/Vault/P5/ .  The '''current''' version will match the latest number listed.

[http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/ref-att.translatable.html Some elements] can take <tt>@version</tt> to specify the version of P5 that was current when the content of the element was translated. Perhaps the datatype needs to be changed to <tt>data.version</tt> and the note revised so that it works like those above?
