Transcribe Bentham is a University College London project that uses the crowdsourcing approach for the task of mass digitization of texts by Jeremy Bentham. The texts are transcribed according to the TEI Guidelines, with the assistance of a web tool called the Transcription Desk.
The project has received the Award of Distinction from the Prix Ars Electronica for 2011.
