Wild Apricot Membership Database

Membership Directory

• Members have the option to Opt-Out; not all Members will be listed on our web site.
• For those who opt-in, contact info is available, which is handy for institutional members.

Membership Website

• Stand-alone site that’s been visually integrated with the TEI-C web site
• HTML changes (Kevin and Luis to document this)

Checking-in with Members

• Run periodic searches to make sure email contacts are correct (!). If emails are bouncing contact the institution to update the contact.
• Run periodic searches for lapsing members, send personalized message to remind them to re-up
• Run periodic searches for lapsed members, encourage them to re-join
• Laurent to document these steps in more detail for next membership secretary!

Members who Sign Up Through PayPal Donation

• Will require coordination with the Treasurer and Virtual, Inc., who have direct access to the PayPal account (follow up with Virtual, Inc.)
• Anyone who submits a donation for any amount, will receive an individual membership.
• PayPal only collects Name and email so Membership Secretary will have to follow up with donor to collect other information we need for Wild Apricot like institutional affiliation.
• Membership Secretary will have to enter donors into Wild Apricot manually (for now).

Generating Ballots for Members During Elections

• Run two queries in Wild Apricot
• This may change due to a new proposal we will submit to the membership

Member Benefits

• Add info about the Oxygen discount and how it's managed by Wild Apricot
