  • placement of nested <figure>s: GitHub ticket 1515 expanded according to discussion.

Guidelines Release 3.4.0

  • new element <path>: GitHub ticket 1453 expanded according to discussion.

TEI and IIIF

Recently there has been a lot of discussion about TEI and IIIF interoperability on TEI-L and elsewhere. Four main issues can be identified:

  1. convert TEI to IIIF manifest [1]
  2. link from TEI to IIIF image [2]
  3. link from TEI to IIIF manifest [3]
  4. link from IIIF manifest to TEI-encoded transcription [4]

After some discussion, we decided not to actively pursue this huge and complex topic further as a group, at least not for the time being.
