TEI-L is the main mailing list of the TEI community. It is the place for questions, comments, announcements and general brainstorming, with an active and helpful community behind it. The list is hosted by Brown University.

Although the list occasionally digresses into quite technical TEI-related discussions, it is also the recommended place for inexperienced or less-technical questions! Please do not hesitate to post if you have any TEI-related questions, even if it is about where in the TEI Guidelines to find something!

As always, it makes sense to keep the "Welcome to the list" message with all the useful info that it provides. For those of us urgently needing to unsubscribe, the relevant command is issued by sending a message to the following address:

TEI-L-signoff-request@LISTSERV.BROWN.EDU

This information is also available when you "view all headers" in any e-mail message from the list.
