  1. Location
  2. Venue
  3. Staffing
  4. Funding Prospects
  5. Supporting organizations (if relevant)
  6. Ease of travel
  7. Opportunities to expand the TEI community
  8. Has hosted conference in the past?
  • Questions for Host?
  • Foreseen challenges?
  • Special opportunities?

Each voting member of the Board of Directors most complete the review. Non-voting members are welcome to complete the review of applications. Input from non-voting members will be taken under consideration by voting members of the Board.

Criteria 1-8 should be assigned a rating each that will average across all objective criteria (1-8):

  • 5 = Very Good
  • 4 = Good
  • 3 = Satisfactory
  • 2 = Poor
  • 1 = Very Poor
