Planning for TEI Tweet Chat on Libraries

Paul O'Shea is the TEI's social media coordinator. We'll hold this on Nov. 13, following his plan of holding Tweet Chats on the second Thursday of the month.

To do in advance

  1. Choose a time. The last one was held at 3 p.m. Dublin time (usually 10 a.m. Eastern Time), but we might hold this one at 4 p.m. Dublin time so that people on Pacific Time (when it's 8 a.m.) will have a better chance of being able to attend.
  2. Come up with a discussion topic.
  3. Advertise the event beginning week of Nov. 10.
    1. Paul has plans for this.
    2. Find a prominent library blogger to promote the event.

To do during the event

  • Mention the Best Practices and ask if people are using this document.
  • Mention Thutmose II and ask if people are using this tool.
