Preliminary program for the meeting of the TEI-SIG "Computer-Mediated Communication" on 30 September 2016

The meeting was held as part of the TEI Conference and Members' Meeting 2016.

Location: Museumszimmer [museum room] Time: 11:00-12:30

Schedule/agenda:

  1. Introduction: Mission, schema drafts, and previous activities of the SIG
    (Michael Beißwenger, U Duisburg-Essen / Harald Lüngen, IDS Mannheim)
  2. Experiences with adapting the schema drafts from the TEI CMC-SIG for the representation of a German discourse-structured blog corpus
    (Holger Grumt Suárez, Natali Karlova-Bourbonus, Henning Lobin, U Gießen)
  3. Towards feature requests for the representation of CMC: Discussion and definition of an agenda for the next months

Note that on Fri 30, 9:00 am, there will also be a SIG-related conference talk about experiences and best practices for converting and representing social media corpora in TEI (Sitzungssaal).
