The purpose of this proposal is to finalize discussions we had in March (see minutes) re: expanding membership levels for inclusivity and wider participation in the TEI-C.

Current Membership Levels

  • Individual - $50 (USD)
• Institutional Levels
  • Supporter - $250.00 (USD)
  • Contributor - $500.00 (USD)
  • Friend - $1,500.00 (USD)
  • Patron - $2,500.00 (USD)
  • Sustaining Partner - $5,000.00 (USD)

Proposal for New Membership Levels

Rationale: We would like to provide additional membership options at the individual level as a way to increase membership world-wide, no matter where one is in their career.

• Individual Levels
  • Label - $15 (USD)
  • Label - $25 (USD)
  • Individual - $50 (USD) (consider changing this label)
  • Label - $75 (USD)

• If $50 is too much, anyone can apply.
• Free 1-year memberships to people who come to workshops. (LR: Follow-up these ...)
• Use the donation function for this ... Membership level that costs: $0-$50 ... one year membership. Honor system.
• Track donations. Donation in any amount will also give you a membership.
• Pay more or less!
