Transcribe Bentham is a University College London project that uses a crowdsourcing approach for the task of mass digitization of texts by Jeremy Bentham. The texts are transcribed according to the TEI Guidelines, with the assistance of a web tool called the Transcription Desk.
The project has received the Award of Distinction from the Prix Ars Electronica for 2011.
